We have a family friend that has four deer hunts available for the 2010 season. This
is a 320 acre high fence ranch that has been under strict game management for the
last 5 years, On an average setting during the 2009 season we would see 20 - 25
deer. There is approximate 1 buck to 1 doe ratio.
I will upload photos after the deer grow their antlers this year.
There is water and electric available for hunters to bring motor homes or travel trailers.
Deer are fed year around and there are several food plots throughout the property.
Stands and feeders are supplied.
During the 2009 season we saw numerous bucks in the 130 - 170 class. The owner
has removed only cull bucks over the last five years. One one management buck was
taken last year that score 149 7/8 BC.
The cost per hunt is $3000.00 with no trophy fee. You can harvest one trophy buck,
and two does. Depending on the deer survey he may include a cull buck.
The ranch is located between Evant and Gatesville.
